The prop rules
As a prop you will have a great deal from the poker site. In return you have to follow some rules to do your job. It is important that you follow the rules and procedures presented at this page every time before you start propping. If you just like to sit down for 5 minutes and then leave, you might reconsider, we have never found a good deal with free money totally without effort.
Please be advised that this is general rules. The rules can be slightly different depending on which poker room you choose to prop for. Also, you will recieve complete instructions and explanations when you apply to become a prop.
Here we go...
1. Go to the discussion board and check for new information, changes in rules, new promotions and an updated prop list. All information will be posted there.
2. Sign in to Yahoo Instant Messenger and check in with the shiftmanager. Tell the shiftmanager what limits you want to play. Remeber you will never be forced to play a level you are not comfortable with or above your bankroll. If no SM is online you are responsible to follow the rules by yourself. As long as the rules at any table is broken, none of the props at that table will get paid. Even if no SM is online you have to be online at Yahoo IM. Remember to check out with the SM before leaving a table.
3. Your job is to start new tables and save dying ones. If your table gets full - 1 (5 players on a 6 max, 9 players on a 10 max table) you have to sit out and leave or start a new one on the same limit or a higher one. If the full table get a waiting list with 3 or more players you have to leave before your next blind. If there is more then one prop at the table the last one to sit down is the first to leave. You can start a new table with only props and play for a maximum of one hour. If no customer have joined by then you have to sit out and wait until a customer joins or until 30 minutes have passed when you can do the same procedure again. This rule is used when all customers sit out and leaves the table.
4. Props are not allowed to switch from the tables the shift managers send you to without permission from the SM.
5. Props are not allowed to "sit out" for any duration longer than one rotation of the button.
6. Any prop caught trying to collude with another prop/customer will be terminated immediately.
7. Intentionally "playing soft" or favoring another player will not be tolerated.
8. Another important factor if you want to play poker as a prop is making a pleasant time for the customers. This means that a prop is not allowed at anytime talk bad of other players, no matter how bad or dumb he plays. A "nh" or "well played" really helps creating a good time on the table, if the customers notice that there is often a friendly chat they most likely will have a better time. A prop is never ever allowed to talk about the prop team, or even mention that he/she is a prop. A prop is never allowed to talk to anyone at what site he props or reveal the name of other props. You are not allowed to talk to other props through IM either, this to minimize the risk for collusion. This is one of the most important rules and if this rule is violated you will be terminated from the prop team immediately.
Any prop that violates the rules 1 time will receive a warning. If the prop violates the rule 2 times there will be a second warning and a cut of the prop pay by 50%. If a prop violates the rules 3 times within a month no prop pay will be paid out and the prop will be terminated from the prop team for 4 weeks (a month). Every month the warnings are set to zero.
These rules are simply to follow, and in return you will have a rakeback around 100%. If you do not feel that you could follow these rules, then do not apply to become a prop, it is a waste of your and our time.
If you feel like this is something for you, just send us an application. In that case, we wish you good luck and welcome in andvance. For all your others that do not want to follow these rules, remember, there are still some rakeback deals offered here that gives you high returns for no extra effort!
