Prop rules F.A.Q

What kind of rules do I have to follow?

Read the rules for every individual site, which you will be sent to you when you apply to become a poker prop. Most often is the rules are about not sitting on full tables, maximum number of props at every table and maximum time to play vs props without customers at the table. The general prop rules are found here.

What if I see a prop breaking the rules?

If there is a shiftmanager online you just tell him. If not, write an email to per.lindholm@prop-poker.com and tell what site, what rules the player is breaking and what time it is. Do NOT tell him he is doing wrong in the chat in the poker client.

What is a Shiftmanager?

Some sites are actively managed during peak hours. This means that there is one person that actively manage and make sure every prop follows the rules, and actively makes props starting new tables and moving to dying ones. As soon as we see that you understand the rules we will let you play more at your own, but we will still keep an eye on the tables and you will recieve warnings if you break the rules. We let you play at your own so that you can focus more on the game - don't abuse this opportunity by breaking the rules.

Does the Shift Manager (SM) tell me where to play and when to break up a table?

Yes that is part of the managers job. The SM does not always tell you where to play and when to stop at a certain table as long as you follow the rules, but sometimes he will to boost activity or to help certain limits.

Do I have to play above my bankroll or games I am not comfortable with?

No. You decide what limits you can afford and what games you want to play. If any site have limit requirements, you will see it in the prop site rules before you sign up.
